I absolutely LOVE this movie! I know that as far as history is concerned, it is not accurate. It’s very loosely based on P.T. Barnum’s life. I’m okay with that because of the message this movie portrays. This movie celebrates differences. It shows shame and humiliation that can come from those differences, yet it also shows acceptance of those differences and how one comes to love those differences. I will watch this movie over and over and sing right along with the fabulous music!
