Rich had surgery on Wednesday to fix one of his fingers. He hurt it playing basketball a while ago. He ripped a tendon in his finger. That tendon is now down in his palm. So on Wednesday, the doctor put a spacer in his finger and tied off the ripped tendon. The spacer is there to make room for a new tendon, that will come from his wrist. He will get the new tendon in a second surgery a few months from now. He is happy to finally get this fixed but isn't too thrilled with the process. He's had quite a bit of pain and he's been itchy under those bandages with no way to scratch. He goes to the doctor on Tuesday and will hopefully be set free of bandages.
