Snoqualmie Falls

On Wednesday we drove to Snoqualmie Falls. It was the second time I had been and I was still amazed at how beautiful it is there. Garret and Daddy walked the river trail down to the water. Garret loved putting his feet in the water even though it was freezing! He thought it was great. He tried to get daddy to take all of the little short cuts that he and Chris discovered on our last trip here but he wasn't too successful. They did take one at the very end and Garret ended up with his bum covered in dirt. The shortcut was up a steep hill and Garret slid down it. Silly kid. Momma, Kira, & I stayed at the top of the falls and just people watched. It was fun. Kira discovered jumping there. She would bend her knees and then do her best to jump. Her feet never left the ground. It was too cute. After the falls, we took a short trip to the temple. Rich stayed home to get some sleep since he had to work the midnight shift that night but Lindsay and Keagan joined us. We would have loved to of stayed on the Temple grounds longer but it Seattled (rained) on us, so it was cut short. But it was still a nice visit.
On Thursday, Momma & Daddy took Garret to swimming lessons and to see Wall E. They bought him popcorn and all kinds of good treats. He loved having them to himself. Rich just recovered from working all night. Kira & I recovered a little from all of our goings all week. That night, they treated all of us to a great steak dinner. Rich loved his prime rib! Once home we took the boys out and popped fireworks. Then we got a surprise visit from the Watson grandparents. I knew about it but only since the day before. Rich & Garret were completely surprised. It was great having both sets of grandparents around even if it was only for a few hours.
